I made a mistake reflecting works of eBoy being British. At first glance, I presumed they were. But in a way it’s still a compliment as their work is what I can described as a simplified mashed-version of LEGO, the seventies, arcade games, Rubix cube and (anything that looks visually) hand-made 3D.
They started off basic and expressed their masterpieces on computer screens. Now they are branching out to posters, iPhone skins and even toys. And why not milk it, it's fab! Their work may look complex to some but it touches people’s hearts and it reminds them of their childhood (it does for me). Also, they add humour to their work which is very appealing. You can see it for yourself at Since.Upian, Paris till 18th July.

A singing and dancing spider
Yep, it’s Spidey with a twist. When I first heard of this rave, I was laughing my head off. Can you imagine a superhero crooning and boogieing down to the rescue or typically, to save a damsel, Mary Jane, in distress? No. Well, Julie Taymor, notably the person behind the musical sensation The Lion King, thinks it’s a wicked idea. And Bono, who is doing the score for the musical, seconds the motion.
The pleasing title is Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark and tickets are on sale from 12th September. The preview kicks off on 15th February 2010 in Broadway, NYC. I think it’s very daring. It’ll be contagious and a thrill to watch. It has the potential to enter the realm of classics.

Let's polarize it!

Forget the quibble about the poor quality issue with Polarize application for your iPhones because there isn’t one. Full stop! Firstly, it’s a freebie. So why whinge at something you get for nothing? Did you pay for it? No! Secondly, do you like (or did you like) using Polaroid? Or a least appreciate its prints. If yes, then you’ll love this application. You can take pictures directly from your iPhone and it'll polarized it automatically, or select one pic from your camera roll or files like I did and then polarize it. The effects, as you can see, are fab and it’ll definitely make you chill out at home and polarize everything. You can even join the Polarize community on Flickr if you really wanna be ultra-slack. Enjoy!
