Rather stoic 'Sannomiya Light Shade'

This is a fairly smart pleated shade made by Innermost. It looks kinda melancholy and actually quite discreet. Not as showy as Norm 69 or other Skandium lighting but it delivers. It becomes part of the house say naturally. Also, it comes in flatpack with non-twiddly assembly instructions.

heavy.com

When slackers’ dojo was first founded, it recognized its place in the .com community. At the same time across the US, heavy.com intuitively formed more or less at the same time. It’s nice to know that we are not alone here. Admittedly heavy.com may have profited more from its counterpart due to its sheer velocity than slackers’ idleness. We would like to express our respect and spread the word on how hilarious this site is. So big up to heavy contagiousness! This is how we would have been if we weren’t that laggard.

Tizio 35 desk lamp

A classic still although it’s 20% smaller than the original. In fact, it’s hardly noticeable. It’s a wonderfully designed task light. It can rotate 360 degrees around its base, and its counterweight and arm system are truly unique. Move it around and then stop and it’ll stay there. A timeless piece since its first version released in 1972. Designed by Richard Sapper and manufactured by Artemide.
